April 11, 2019 – RST students travelled to Little Bridge Resort, Taal, Batangas for the annual excursion.
The theology students left RST at around 5:00 in the morning. The excursion included a side trip to the Shrine of St. Martin de Tours for prayers and some pictorials for souvenir purposes. The Mass was celebrated at the church of Our Lady of Caysasay with Fr Radni Caparas, OAR, the Dean of Studies and Student Affairs, as the celebrant. Br. Feliciano Campomanes, the procurator of RST, tagged along.
Arriving at the resort, they first fixed their things and had lunch at the pavilion near the beach. In the afternoon was scheduled the fun activities and games. The theology students were divided into four groups. All enjoyed the games with smiles and laughter. The brothers enjoyed camaraderie, fellowship and communion through the merienda, singing and conversation.
The following day April 12, 2019 was a whole day of swimming, singing, chatting and eating. The excursion ended with the celebration of the mass by Fr. Radni. After the mass and lunch, the students left for home ready to face same and new challenges destined for theology students at RST and members of their own communities of faith.
