Mira Nila Homes, QUEZON CITY—Fifty-eight year ago, two young pilipino novices made their Profession of Simple Vows in the Recollect Novitiate house of Monteagudo, Navarra, Spain. Fifty-eight-years ago, today, Fray Dunstan Hubert Decena, OAR and Fray Emeterio Buñao, OAR, celebrated their re-consecration to the Augustinian Recollect way of life in their respective assignments. As to Fr. Decena at St. Thomas de Villanova chapel of Recoletos Formation Center and Fr. Buñao at St. Ezekiel Moreno novitiate chapel in Antipolo.
Fray Decena recalled that in Monteagudo they experienced Monastic Life as Recollects following the old Ceremoniale.
At present Fray Buñao is assigned as Spiritual Director of the Novices of St. Ezekiel Moreno Novitiate. Likewise, Fray Hubert is Spiritual Director of the theologians at Recoletos Formation Center, Quezon City and one of the Official Translators of the Province (Spanish to English).
Two years from now they will celebrate their Diamond jubilee as Religious of the Order and of the Province of St. Ezekiel Moreno.
